I am a graduate student of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Texas at Arlington (www.uta.edu).

My research interests lie primarily in the fields of MEMS (Micro Electro Mechanical Systems) and nanotechnology.

When I'm not designing MEMS devices I like to read. I'll read anything from Plato to Palahniuk to Bill Waterson. My favorite books include Fight Club by Chuck Palahniuk and Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand. Two diametrically opposite philosophies , but they could not be more alike.

A few of my favorite movies are Fight Club (from the book), The Godfather, and The Matrix.

I also play the acoustic guitar and love music. In my collection you'll find Pink Floyd , Led Zeppelin , Buddy Guy , Eric Clapton and Metallica along with Beethoven, Mozart and Puccini.
